What should you learn first?
Most beginners should first become confident with generative AI. Prompt structure, context, checking and model selection are also used when designing agents.
If you already work with APIs, automation or software, you can move into agent architecture earlier. You will need to learn tool calling, memory, retrieval, evaluation and approval controls.
Making your course choice
Choose a creative AI course if you want to produce content, design, video or marketing work. Choose agentic AI if you want systems that act across software and business processes. A mixed program suits founders and operations teams who need both.
